The alligators are friendly
When The Jefferson reopened in 1907, it was enlarged to feature novel elements, including fish and alligator ponds in the Palm Court until 1948.
Room service is awesome. Just sayin.
Alligator statues serve reminders of the alligators that once resided in the Lobby pools. At one time, Richmonders bought baby alligators as pets. When they got too big, they brought them to live here
