Hamnet An Abbey Theatre and Dead Centre Co-production opens tonight. A play by William Shakespeare, who had one son named Hamnet. William left home for his career in the theatre and n 1596, he was Hamnet – who was then eleven years old – was seriously ill. By the time Shakespeare reached Stratford, Hamnet had died. A solo work for an eleven year old boy, Hamnet uses live video and dead video to bridge the gap between two generations, asking each other what they want to pass on and receive. The Australian Pink Floyd Show is in the 3Arena tonight. Performing the music of Pink Floyd with note for note perfection. Striving to reproduce the Pink Floyd experience and bring the music to new audiences, the show continues to include a fabulous laser and light show, special filmed footage and original animation onto a large high resolution LED screen, inflatables such as Skippy (the Pink Kangaroo), The Teacher and Pig and a 10 piece band playing the songs with perfection, attention to detail and a sound that has been honed for almost 30 years of performances. Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party in the Olympia Theatre tonight is defiantly a night not to be missed. A hive-mind of world-class musicians, songwriters and performers joining together for the sole purpose of creating unique material and enjoying each other’s company. Comfortable hotel in a great, central location with modern bathrooms. Hot water was often lukewarm though unfortunately.

Good city centre hotel off o'connoll street. Great buffet breakfast that fills you up for the day ahead.
Good sized room but smells a little of smoke
Some of the rooms are microscopically small!
Expect value for money and a snug but comfortable stay at this well-known chain.
